I travelled to Old Airport Road wanting to eat Lor Mee . .
only to find, the stall has been
DESERTED by the stall owners with bowls of Lor Mee licked clean by the day's customers. dumb luck.
No LOR MEE!!
me and beewee decided we must try the famous ROJAK!

You had to take a Queue number. (either the place is very high-tech, or all the fame from food shows had ballooned their heads)

We waited for about 75 mins to get a plate of Rojak.
It seems that the owners looked to be in their 70s.
they "peng" the you tiao and tau pok serving by serving
and cut the ingredients servings by servings too, ensuring optimum freshness!!!
which was great!!!
and people are willing to wait patiently for their rojak!
I can only wonder how they cope with the lunch crowd.
